Permits Are Required in Williams Township

Williams Township requires all property owners to obtain a permit for new construction.

Please bring your building application, plans and construction drawings into the Municipal Office located at: 655 Cider Press Road, for review.

The PA Attorney General requires all home improvement contractors to be registered. On the PA Attorney General's website, a resident can check to see if their contractor is registered. Contractors can also register through this site.

On June 1st, 2010, Williams Township began enforcing the 2009 International Building Codes as per the State mandated Uniform Construction Code.

Please note that as of January 8, 2013 Keycodes Inspection Agency is the third party building code inspection agency for Williams Township. All building code inspections will be performed by them. Moving Permits 

Pursuant to Ordinance No. 2016-05, Moving permits are required in Williams Township if you move in, out, or within the Township. The fee to obtain a moving permit is $5.00.
