Annual Township Events

Our free paper shredding event is held once a year, with the date typically announced in January. It’s a great way to safely and securely dispose of sensitive documents—perfect for spring cleaning or post-tax season purging.

Held every May (around the 10th), our white goods pickup is a convenient way to responsibly dispose of large household items like appliances. It helps keep our community clean while saving you a trip to the dump.

Each year, the Veterans Memorial Committee hosts moving ceremonies on Memorial Day and Veterans Day to honor those who have served and sacrificed for our country. These events are a meaningful way to come together as a community and pay our respects.

Our 6-week Summer Recreation Program runs from June to July and offers fun, active, and enriching experiences for local youth. From arts and crafts to games and outdoor activities, it’s a great way to keep kids engaged and connected over the summer.
