Due to updated practices for safety at the Municipal Building that were implemented in response to the COVID-19 issue, the Township Tax Collector WILL NOT be in the office for the pre-scheduled collection dates. (March 25th and 27th 2pm-4pm and March 30th and April 1st 2pm-4pm) Residents may drop off payments in the specified Tax Collection Drop off box. Of course, payments may also be mailed. Jenny is also available by phone or email should you have any questions about your tax payment.
Residents may use the drop box to put payments in as long as it is a check or money order and in a sealed envelope. NO CASH PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. As long as the payment is placed in the drop box by end of day April 1 for the Williams Township Real Estate Tax Bill, and April 17 for the Wilson Area School District Real Estate Tax Bill it will be accepted as on time.
You can mail your payment to me ATTN: Jenny Frindt, 655 Cider Press Rd, Easton, PA 18042. As long as the postmark date is April 1 or prior, it will be accepted as on time. Please do not wait until April 1 or April 17 to put your payment in the mail. The post office does not always postmark it on the drop off date.
RECEIPTS FOR YOUR PAYMENT – If you would like a receipt returned to you, please enclose BOTH bill portions (the one that says “mail with payment” and the one that says “taxpayer copy”) AND a self-addressed stamped envelope.
If you need special arrangements and neither of these options are viable for you, please contact the Tax Collector for assistance.
