If you are a resident who has Public Sewer, here are some commonly asked questions that you may find helpful:
Most residential customers are billed quarterly. Our bills go out in the mail in the months of January, April, July and October
If you use less than 20,000 gallons of water in a quarter, your bill will be a flat fee of $125.00. If you exceed the 20,000 gallon limit, the charge will be $5.00 more for each 1,000 gallons over the 20,000 gallons.
You must pay your bill in 30 days or you will be assessed a penalty of $1.88.
Any sewer account which is 30 or more days in delinquent shall be placed in collection with our designated collection agent, Creditech. If you have a bill that has been turned over to them, you may contact them directly at 1-800-555-5695 to make payment.
It is the policy of Williams Township to bill owners of properties. We do not bill renters.
Your sewer bill is based on your water meter reading.
Owners of the property connected to the sewer system for only a portion of the billing quarter shall pay 100% of the sewer for that quarter.

On Lot Septic System Homeowners Responsibilities
You, the homeowner, are responsible for the care and maintenance of your Individual Sewage Disposal System. With reasonable use and periodic maintenance, your system should last a long time. Here are seven things you should do to insure your system remains in good working order:
Do regular pumping of the septage from the septic tank
Locate the tank riser (septic tank lid) and keep it marked.
Understand how the system operates, including knowing what the minimum maintenance requirements are for your particular design.
Respond to a failing system with required maintenance, particularly when surfacing of effluent occurs or orders are apparent.
Do not dispose of hazardous household wastes in the septic system.
Recognize the value of the property by having a well maintained system.
Keep records of the system design, location and maintenance activities (including pumping dates).
